In addition to the many social activities the ladies of Newcomers Encore participate in year round, many members also participate in philanthropic activities. On the civic side, Newcomers Encore holds its Annual Silent Auction with the proceeds going to numerous local charities.  Throughout the year the organization engages in volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, and community awareness.  Philanthropic activities are chosen by the members either through membership participation in an organization, a specific or general request from an organization or a belief by the members that Newcomers Encore can make a difference with assistance to an organization.
