OUR MISSION
our committee chairs
Our fabulous committee chairs are the heart of our organization and essential to its smooth operation. Each one plays a vital role—from our Accommodations Chairs who reserve venues for our monthly luncheons, to our Applause Editor who creates our monthly newsletter. The Membership Chair welcomes and oversees the sign-up of new members, while the Outside Activities Chair ensures all events are included in the newsletter. The Reservations Chair handles RSVPs for luncheons, and the Directory Chair updates and distributes our member directory. Our Ways and Means Chairs lead all community service efforts and charitable giving. Other chairs manage important tasks such as door prizes, 50/50 raffles, name tags, weekly updates, and mailing newsletters to members without email. Their teamwork and dedication keep our club thriving. All members are encouraged to get involved in the leadership of our club!
Our club is guided by a dedicated group of officers, each with a unique role in ensuring everything runs smoothly. The President oversees the overall function of the club, while the First Vice President is responsible for finding and coordinating our guest speakers. The Second Vice President forms a nominating committee at the end of the year and oversees the election of new officers. The Recording Secretary takes minutes at our board meetings, and the Corresponding Secretary sends thoughtful notes to members during both joyful and challenging times. The Treasurer manages the club’s finances, and the Parliamentarian—our immediate past president—helps ensure we follow our bylaws.
Our Mission is to cultivate a vibrant community of women dedicated to fostering encouragement, friendship, fellowship, and philanthropy. Through our shared value of support and empowerment, we aim to create a welcoming space where women can inspire one another, build meaningful connections, and make a positive impact in the community through charitable endeavors. Together, we strive to uplift and empower each other while actively contributing to the betterment of society through acts of kindness and philanthropic initiatives.
